Hooray!

I finally have a new blog! On Friday I had my birthday... I am finally 25... AHHH!!! School was pretty fun-- some of my kids gave me candy for my birthday (there is an advantage to having a birthday two days after Halloween!!!). I also treated myself to a pedicure and manicure. Delicious!

Chris and I went to TX Roadhouse for dinner which was very delicious but they did NOT get the hint that it was my birthday. Sooooo... no free dessert for Rachie. They are obviously not very quick on the uptake... One hint was Chris telling them that it was my birthday when we got there-- then we gave the waitress this coupon that you get when it is your birthday if you are a member of the "Birthday Club" which, of course, I am. It was very frustrating... it is hard to pretend like you are "soooo embarrassed" that they are singing to you and making everyone say "yeeeeeeeeee-haw" in the restaurant when they don't even do it! Secretly... I love it... Oh well-- maybe when I am 26 ;-)

On Saturday Chris and I hosted "Rachelsgiving" and basically had a Thanksgiving dinner with some (18) of our closest friends. It was delicious and a lot of fun to see everyone. I also got to bust out my new camera! WOO HOO!

All in all, it was a fabulous birthday weekend!
